CIC Webinar on Forum on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Adoption in the Construction Industry
With the advancements in technology, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are becoming smaller in size, better in performance, and more affordable. UAS are being deployed increasingly in the Hong Kong Construction Industry for surveying and inspection purposes with enhanced productivity, safety, time, and cost benefits. On the application of UAS, the industry has been working closely with the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) to facilitate the smooth operation of UAS without compromising safety for the workforce and the general public.
The Construction Industry Council, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Hong Kong Drone Sports Association co-hosted the Forum on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Adoption in the Construction Industry to collect the views and suggestions on UAS adoption in the Hong Kong construction industry.
In the webinar, our guest speakers will share their experiences on safe and effective use of UAS and suggestions on effective ways to overcome difficulties posed by urban site constraints and meet regulatory requirements.
