TerraExplorer is a family of software designed for viewing, querying, analysing and presenting geospatial data in a high resolution 3D environment. This TerraExplorer family comprises 3 products, including: (i) TerraExplorer for Desktop, which is a standalone desktop software for viewing, analysing and editing data; (ii) TerraExplorer for Web, which is a web-based software to be used in conjunction with SkylineGlobe Server (PA20-082) for building up cloud platform; and (iii) TerraExplorer for Mobile, which is a mobile app for viewing data only. CityBuilder is a plug-in module for 'TerraExplorer for Desktop' (PA20-081). The major function of CityBuilder is to merge 3D city models generated by PhotoMesh (PA20-083), with classification layers, individually modeled layers, and BIM datasets, into a stream-optimized, fully textured, and geospatially-enabled mesh layer (3DML). The generated 3DMLs can be made available to the users of TerraExplorer (PA20-081) which supports visualization and geospatial analysis.
