The robot leverages patent pending innovations on the grouting mechanism and the classical computer vision algorithm to automatically map the room using LIDAR to recognise grout lines with sub-millimetre precision. This allows the robots to grout tiles of any given space at the press of a button without the need for any training. This is done through real-time mapping of the rooms.
Using Computer Vision and Robot Operating System (ROS2), we designed a compact and precise grouting robot that will be fully autonomous.
