HKIA Innovation Lab Site Visit
On August 22, i-Club members visited the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) Innovation Lab and were inspired by the technologies observed.
The visit included a presentation on the GIS-centric Digital Twin for Airport Asset Management, along with demonstrations of IoT, VR, and robotic applications used in daily airport operations. The innovations on display were impressive, particularly the Digital Twin's capabilities in optimizing design, construction, and maintenance throughout the lifecycle of airport infrastructure. AAHK's commitment to remaining at the forefront of technology is commendable and reflects their dedication to continuous improvement.
