Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Construction Robotics Competition 2026
The Construction Industry Council has been actively promoting the application of construction robots, recognising their immense potential to enhance project efficiency, worksite safety, and productivity. Under the guidance of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province and the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the Hong Kong Stage of the Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Construction Robotics Competition 2026, jointly organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Intelligent Construction Industry Development Alliance and the Construction Industry Council (CIC), will be held on 29 September 2026. The event will bring together over 30 construction robotics companies from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to participate live competitions and showcase innovative construction robotics solutions and technologies.
An interactive technology exhibition will be open to the public in the afternoon of the competition day, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the latest developments in smart construction. The exhibition will feature Welding Robots, Drilling Robots, Paint Spraying Robots, Setting Out Robots, Transportation Machines, Drones, and Robotic Dogs (Inspection) among other advanced solutions. Through live demonstrations and interactive experiences, visitors can gain first-hand experience of innovative construction technologies and discover how construction robotics and smart solutions are driving the industry towards a smarter, more automated and efficient future.
